maybe earring thanks i just found it metal detecting and never seen anything like it and no hallmarks that i can see ?

I'm a detectorist too - possibly an ornate Victorian hatpin or similar; the long pin was iron and has rusted away, the silver has remained intact? Good find, anyay!
