Tonight I wanted to send in a picture of a beautiful pattern of leaves, but like they say, to really screw up something, you have to have a computer. I tried to send the image at least half a dozen times, but no matter what I did, it still came out upside down. There are times when the computer thwarts every attempt to do a simple job. At times like this, I remember that when I was a sergeant in the Air Force, I sometimes treated the word, "Mother" as though it were half a word.
Diane and Jerry are our closest friends We were at the hospital when their daughters were born. My gift to Samantha their oldest, was to do her wedding photos as a gift when she married the love of her life. Her younger Mariah is going steady with her boyfriend of several years. Recently, he bought this "muscle" car, an all black Mustang.
My wife and I spent Saturday at our friends home in area at the edge of the desert. Diane and I went around her flower bed taking pictures of the flowers she wants to paint. As we left, I realized that it was what we geezers called "Kodachrome time. Those fifteen minutes when the light gets dramatic and makes cars look their best. I started shooting quickly because there are only a few minutes before it's gone for the day. It was not an idea situation, there was a pick up truck intruding into the upper right corner, and there was no way to get it out of there until I spent an hour removing it from the image. All in all, it came out all right, but I don't like to inflect my car pictures too frequently to you folks in the mother land. Tomorrow, I will return to battle that box of silicone again. I hope this time, I win.
