At the age of sixty seven, I have reached what I feel has been the quest of my life. After letting self proclaimed experts make me doubt my gut level feelings about my work, I have arrived at the place where I see beauty and art in everything.
I have shot at least a dozen shots for my online portfolio at ephotozine in the parking lot of a seven-eleven convenience store. A chain of small building fill with giant sodas, coffee, and beer. There almost as many seven-elevens as there are Starbucks and Doc Martin fanatics. I broke a lot of rules by people who have to have rules about everything. This composition would make a fussy rule lover to cough up a very expensive camera.
