I would much rather be photographing people, but for some reason, the last year has been a case of not who, but what. Objects have fascinated me recently. I see patterns in the dust, in dead leaves, clouds, fabric and living things. I have not found another model like my friend Suzanne, since she retired, and is now happily spending her time with her beautiful grand daughter who will most likely be as stunning as she was and is.

I did photograph a stunning Russian-American girl of fourteen who is my doctors daughter. She is wise beyond her years, and is putting off the beauty chase to concentrate on good grades for college. I hope when she feels it time, I will be able to do the type of portraits I love to do. After fifty one years of war photographs, CSI, and testifying in court about photography, I am done with the ugly side of life.
