Ever since I turned sixty, pictures have been jumping out at me from everywhere. I don't think it's talent, I was so terrible in photography that my teacher suggested that I become an editor at a photography magazine.
I saw this in an alley walking to the parking lot to pick up my car. It's just a featureless parking lot, behind a grammar school, but I've photographed so many things there. Mostly in the sky above, or parked cars below where these two cars were parked next to each other. I used a telephoto lens to compress the cars.
It used to be hit or miss for me. In the past, if I didn't something see something obviously photographic I crossed the place off my list, and never looked there again. I'm glad that changed.
