Zanna is a lovely young woman who worked with my wife at Starbucks. She's now at a store a mile away. (yes, they ARE everywhere!) My wife and I call Zanna, "Our kid." We love her like our daughter, and try to make her happy. I discovered that her little girl fantasy was to be a model. Of course I did a fashion shoot with her. She brought her two best friends, and I've never seen her happier. After the shoot, My wife and I took every one to a little Mexican cantina for drinks. Her eyes got bigger three days later when I gave her a portfolio of her fashion shots. Recently, I gave her a life home after work. She was making some difficult decisions. My job was to listen. By the time I got her home she felt better. As she opened the door, I touched her shoulder gently, and she flew into my arms and hugged me very tightly. That meant more to me than the Pulitzer.

This is a lovely portrait, and one showing her depth. I think that good portrait do capture souls. And, a great back story to the photo.

Hi Aldo, the picture is good, Zanna is a beautiful woman but I think make up could be better. She has a nice (pinkish?) skin colour as I can see from her hand, yet her face looks like it has been applied with a tone of brown-ish? make up, with a little exception on the nose (which seemed same colour with the hand to me). Golden-yellow eye shade is a personal taste issue. Lipstick has some flaw on its application over the upper right side. I think she would still look a gorgeous lady without the make up if she was taking this pose again. Or withe the brown-ish shades of make up she could have her hair taking the place of the hand, to match nicely with the thinking mood also. Last but not least, excellent lighting from you on her.
