The under-exposed look is my processing; I wanted to emphasise the couple, and tone down the sharp colours derived from the overpowering midday sun, and to reduce the harsh shadows thrown off by the surrounding trees. But I do understand how you feel.

nice picture, it would have been better if the man was slightly looking towards the camera a bit more in my opinion, but still a excellent shot
