Called it natural pattern 'cos I don't know what its proper name is! Its one of those cotton type balls on a plant that look great backlit!

We have these (I think the same!) here in Central Texas. They are fluffy and pretty with this kind of center. This works really well. A lovely macro with some good light.

Looks like the seedheads from a clematis tangutica. Was it a climbing plant? Makes a great abstract. Carol

It was - found them on the edge of a vineyard, climbing the vine supprts - so you might well be right. Thanks Carol!
