hi
i had a very unsuccessful day at the river today
i went down with my hide and sat for about 2 hours and not a single kingfisher! Sad
but my spirits were lifted as i heard one on my way back so i know they have not abandoned the river and its just the chicks that have been kicked out.
here is another flower from yesterday but this time, taking some good advice on board.

Very nice shot with the yellow bloom standing out so nicely with the dark b/g tones.

this now works so much better for me, you've turned a good shot into a stunning shot. the crop and clone have made a big difference.

Lol! That's what I said on the first upload!! Smile I totally agree though. Personally, I miss the bud, but that is just a personal thing. With this image I think I would be tempted to crop a little closer to the flower. Smile (Also just a personal thing!)
