I live in Doha, Qatar, and have been here about 9 months.

I started photography about 30 years ago with a Pentax Spotmatic, Zenit and a Ricoh KR10, in Botswana, where I grew up. After moving to the UK in 1990 I had a long break, though I used a compact. I upgraded to a DSLR about 15 months ago. Recently I bought a K7 with two weather sealed kit lenses to replace my Olympus E520. I also have a Pentax SMC-A f1.4 50mm, a Sigma 24mm f2.8 Super-wide II, a Tamron 90mm f2.5 macro with 2x converter, and a Tokina 80-400. And now a Sigma 10-20 and a Sigma 18-250!
