A fascinating shot: I have always been interested in geography and geology and your image shows how tectonic plate drift has resulted in the formation of this range.......but what I can't quite understand is the central valley running through the range. Must refer to the books, methinks.

Amazing view and perfectly exposed. I do think the composition would be more pleasing if the top was cropped off at about the edge of the whiter mist. Would have the effect of making the range start and finish at diagonally opposite corners. Eyes like that.
