Two old men chatting just outside Valletta, Malta's capital city. I loved the way they looked so relaxed just chatting like nothing else mattered. Given their age, their clothing, and the background, I think the B&W editing makes it look a bit more timeless. Do you agree?

Its well timed, but I wonder how you are converting to mono? The image is flat, meaning that black is not black, and white is not white, so what youre left with is a range of grey tones.

let me know what software youre using and how youre converting, and take a lok at the mod for comparison.

I used the grey scale option on paint shop pro, but I can see that this looks a bit washed out. Agree with your mod. Will keep this in mind next time and upload a new version later.
