A very tentative looking elderly man, candidly captured quite beautifully.

Load all your exif data Alistair, - on the upload page, theres an option called More Exif Data, - just click it.

Timing would improve this, having the shot with the man walking into the frame from the left, rather than out of the frame, but a good idea.

Thanks Willie, this was a quick candid, I didn't even lift camera from beside me as I was walking, caught a glimpse of this man and snapped with the camera beside me at hip-level. Will try update the EXIF data later - this was edited and the EXIF was probably lost in the process but I can recover that from the RAW, no problem.

As regards the composition, I would have preferred capturing the man walking INTO the frame, but I like the effect of having him walk out of the picture, so to speak, as it conveys a different mood altogether. It's like he just doesn't care anymore. Of course this is just afterthought as it was a shooting-from-the-hip kind of situation.

Here's hoping next time I end up with a better picture! It was after all my first attempt at street photography and candid shots since I got my camera. Smile
