I typically dislike wasps and fear them for their sting, but photography has brought me closer to these insects and I'm appreciating them more!

Hand painted?? The wasp and the plant are unusual to my eyes. Both may be more common in Europe. I'm in BC Canada. Very good image. TG

Nope this is the result of a slightly edited RAW File, these wasps are very common in Malta and are easy to find in the countryside. Then it's just a question of waiting and snapping!
