The little railway going down from the castle in Budapest to the river. Saves a fair walk !!
We also have torrential rain here this morning
Thanks for all comments. Always appreciated
An amazing little railway, but such a good idea. How is is operated? I know of one in Lynton, Somerset, which works with water. Carol
What a sight.
Wonderful lines of perspective Alvar
great parallel lines in this good to know his braking system works good capture
Cracking shot, just looking at it brings on my vertigo
Very well captured Alvar. Great point of view
That is really quite some view!
I remember it well - but I think we walked down as well as up.
Makes me feel quite giddy looking at this. Very nice image indeed.
A great city of two halves, and the Fisherman's Bastion is a great place to capture many a good image such as this.
Great image shows the steep side of the track very well.
Great DOF. Like the "peachy"walls!
It certainly looks step. Haven't been here.
So good to see new places.
Great image - very good POV
I seem to remember that we spotted this after we had climbed to the top...
Super image, great Dof and comp', that's one hell of a lot of steps too climb up and down.
Lovely view and lines Alvar, i have been on one of these on my visit to Paris at Montmartre , i believe it was called a Funicular.. Peter
You wouldn't want to walk those steps too many times. So the railway looks a good idea. Great shot.............Sandy
Makes me dizzy just looking Alvar. Well captured. Moira
Cracking pov Alvar, a super shot.
I hope they have good brakes on this little railway Alvar !!
That's what you call a lead in to a photograph.............
we rode on something very similar when visiting Scotland some years back, I like the way you have taken this image - delving right into the heart of things below (background)
Happy to be the 30th vote for this cracking shot. That really is a steep incline. It appears to have a steel rope between the rails, am I right?
Looks rather steep but a super shot.
That does look scary!
