These tiny garden snails have climbed on top of each other to make this incredible little tower. About five minutes later it fell over !!!!
Thanks for all yesterdays comments
Well spotted Alvar, nice detail.. Peter
Great image. Well captured
On the shores of Lake Constance, some artists make "pebble sculpures" towering one pebble on top of the other, without using any glue to stabilize it. And the sculptures keep as long as... a wind comes up, or some rowdies... or... well, this seems to be the same kind of art... but I have the feeling, they use some glue...
Fascinating, think I might have a play around with the snails in my garden and see if I can come up with something similar, good image, thanks for sharing......
Super image Alvar! They're not my favourite creatures but they certainly make a good shot here.
Well spotted .
Good that you captured it a this point Alvar.
A smart capture Alvar, nice tones and detail.
Amazing. Were they trying to see over the garden wall, I wonder??
Like Johanna I thought of pebble sculptures.
You caught it just in time, Alvar Carol

you have loads more snails than me.....
This reminded me of when we were kids. My brothers and sisters all used to jump one on top of the other making a human tower. Shouted 'piley on' at the same time.
Anyway very good capture. Moira

These little perishers eat my garden to pieces and I'm
afraid I bait them. This is something different with a
