Thanks to everyone for looking and the comments.
I've been to this event annually for several years now and determined this year my challenge would be to capture muzzle "fire".
To accomplish this, of course there was the watching the process...the "big bang" was preceded by the person approaching with a smoldering wick on a long pole. So, once that was determined set a quick shutter speed and placed the camera on multiple rapid releases hoping to catch "the moment". got beat a couple of times when the ignition of the powder seemed delayed and the camera buffer filled but was pleased to get two "flame" shots along with enough smoke trails to set the pollution folks on edge!
