This is the first time that I've ever seen a Salsify in pink!! Normally reddish purple florets. One of my fav. Wilflowers along with the Wood Anemones!
Plenty of these along the riverbank at the moment.
Belonging to the Daisy family, another name for these is Oysterplant.
The roots are edible & recipes are available on the internet.
No, I Did'nt pick this one.....Too Attractive!!

Extra ordinary shot. I like the flower with the bud. It gives very charming look and hazzy BG in three colors adds more attraction towards it. Really nice shot.
