A couple of wildflowers that abound on the riverbank during summer.
This one is Sea Aster & if you can brave the mud & mosquitos, all well & good.
V2 Is Sea Lavender.

These are so lovely. Have had images of these in my mind over many years, having seen them only in a tiny wildflower book I was given as a child, but never been fortunate enought to see them in reality. Has to be V1 for me too. totally stunner of a shot!

Again, #1 seems rather dark to me. I wonder if you have your monitor brightness turned up a long way? Looking at the histogram, 98% of the image is below three-quarters brightness.
