Eventually after over a thousand shots I got a picture of a Red Kite that I am almost happy with. I sat under a small yew tree on Watlington Hill for most of the afternoon, and enjoyed watching a whole squadron of Kites in action. Best seen large!

Yes, Watlington is the place for them, Parents in Law live in the Stoner Valley and have them come over the house at about 30 feet.
They are hard to capture, and this is a wonderful shot with great colour and clarity.
Love it - My efforts last year were nowhere as good as this - maybe this year...
