Not sure if this will appeal to anybody else, but while standing on the bank of Loch Awe, watching the mist start to thin out, I could not believe my eyes when I saw this mist-bow materialise right over Castle Kilchurn...... never seen one before. The whole image (and the others I took too) looks totally surreal.....

makes a change from the usual rainbows anyway!

I found fogbow, mistbow and white rainbow amongst other names. I thought mistbow fitted with this one, though it was a close second to white rainbow Smile

I saw this effect on Curbar last September, but not able to capture it properly.....though the setting and bow look much better here. Maybe I should have used a polariser Wink
