Just back from a week in Wasdale, and what a week! Never known such good weather, especially in October!

Here's my take on the Classic View of Great Gable, Kirk Fell, Yewbarrow and Lingmell.

It is an HDR image combined and mapped in Photomatix Pro from shots at 1/10, 1/6 and 0.4s at F11 @ ISO100 @ 21mm. Circular polariser and Cokin ND Grad G1.

Please take a look at the large version!

Beautiful location.
Like this photograph a lot.
In my opinion cropping of the bottom half will make it stronger, only my opinion.

Good luck

Robert

Robert may have a point about the suggested crop.

Fabulous Lakeland landscape. Beautifully composed with the shady f/g contrasting so well with the distant sunlit fells, and lovely natural looking colours.

beautiful image, gorgeous light, i prefer your original, dont loose the reflections, they add extra foreground interest and make for a stronger lead in line, making for a more complete image, mike.
