This is Jon Amor, lead guitarist of one of the best British blues/rock bands ever, The Hoax. They had split up when I was 12/13 then reformed a few years ago, no way I was going to miss out taking some photos of them when they came round again.

Unfortunately they had requested the lights be positioned further down their bodies so they didn't have them in their faces all the time so I didn't get that many good shots but this is one of the few times they stepped further into the light.

Stage lights are the bane of my life too! But this is a great shot Ash, I like how the white light is shining on the guitar and the darker shadow on his face gives dimension, you still have enough light to show all his features and he looks like he is totally in the zone!

I have a close up of his face with the yellow/blue light split, another one of my absolute favourites, will stick up tomorrow
