Happy New 2007! Wishing everyone all the best in the new year and loads of fantastic pictures!
This is the fireworks display in Sydney a few hours ago Smile Taken from our friends' balcony. A funny thing is that I forgot a part of tripod head which holds the camera so I had to use the scotch tape. It was the silliest thing I've ever seen Smile

P.S. Harbour Bridge is 75 years old this year, so it has a diamond display

Great shot & the diamond is well defined. I have just been watching the Sydney display and celebrations on TV. We still have about 6h 25m to go but I doubt the displays will be as good if they happen? Gale force winds & heavy showers through Central Scotland.
