Great Shot...i was there before the Opera House was built...lol...1964...i was also there in 1960 but i missed my ship home...but "They" me found another ship home
Very moody, very attractive, love the deep blue sky and lone star, attractive composition. So pleased to be the 30th.
Nice to see the view from the other way, gives a real sense of place. There's a lovely glow to this one Anastasia...

Nearly missed this one. The foreground contributes a feeling of perspective & scale. A pity the people weren't on the left hand bench, but there you are. Beautifully exposed to show Venus & one or two stars, keeps the astronomers happy. I like to see the bridge too, my late father was a structural engineer, the company he worked for (Cleveland Bridge & Engineering, Darlington, UK) joined forces with Dorman Long who built this bridge (before his time of course) & also the original Auckland Harbour Bridge structure, I think.
