1 Jan 2007, the place where thousands of people were celebrating the New Year less than 24 hours before that time. It was wet and empty. I loved the open space and the reflections of the street lights in the puddles. The Opera House was by itself, no people around, and it looked lonely.

good photo, goes well with the description. good control of light too, the light of the lamp post is not overpowering at all.
