A nice shot that would have been improved (IMO) if the subject wasn't dead centre of the frame.

Are you sure this was taken by the lake rather than by you?

Sorry be sensible for a minute - Imho I am not sure the image is central within the frame either horizontally or vertically - although I understand that perhaps there is a little too much material beneath the subject. Quick crop will solve this - but for me this is an excellent image - I really like composition and the rich colours. Well done

It works for me, composition and all. The mood is fabulous and I love the colours - the blues setting a sombre tone and the red subtle, but isolating the figure and suggesting the sanguine [in this case] of death.

Very strong emotional resonance in this image, which immediately elevates it IMO.
