Hello my fellow photographers. I joined this wonderful site to help improve my skills see other peoples work which so far looks awesome and to happily recieve any critique. I crave to learn so would love honesty from anyone kind enough to take the time.

I have just turned 43. I live in Maidstone, England
I've been into photography for a long time but nothing serious, you know, take 500 shots, get 2 reasonable ones. I have taken the SLR plunge and sport a Canon 400 that my partner bought me for Christmas a year ago. I work at a local papermill which is incredibly dull but helps in a small way to pay the bills. I live for my days off to listen to music, which I totally love, and to attempt to take photos, when the weather is kind enough anyway.
