Steven is back to work full time today - though we had a session this morning at the cardio rehab clinic - what an eye opener that was! Very informative and helpful.
Willow pup has been as good as gold today - all is quiet - so I had a little play. Hadn't actually taken a photograph apart from the pup for weeks as not been able to really - then noticed these wilting tulips in the kitchen window (I bet you don't keep such tatty flowers on your window sills!) --- anyway - here is a little offering to let you know I am still alive and kicking - though possibly as wilted as the tulips
Sorry I have missed so many images - but it has been impossible to even look on site most days - and I still haven't bought a Christmas present yet - it is gonna be a mad rush - eventually................
I hope all is well with you all xxxxxxxxx

Superb shot Sue, I love the processing and presentation, and yep like you we had some ageing flowers on the widow sill, but unlike you I didn't take a photo of them :-(, Have to get my act together ![]()
Hugh
Delicate and surely reflects the nature's cycle. beautiful image

Quote: Wonderful treatment of these 'queens' of the flower world. They deserve a good send off, and you have given them the best. Can I come round when it suits and have the same treatment ?
Glad to hear the news. ![]()
Barry
Barry, if you mean can you come round, be shoved in a jug of cold water on the kitchen window sill and then have your petals ripped off so I can photograph you, any time......you are very welcome indeed! ![]()
Sue
Just gorgeous. Perhaps I shall now be encouraged to hang onto cut flowers a bit longer, having seen these, though I fear I lack the knowledge and talent to make such a beautiful image from them. So very pleased to read that Steven has made such a fine recovery. Seems you have all the ingredients for a joyous Christmas and New Year, once you get those pressies sorted!
Ann
Glad to hear that all is well Sue - don't worry about Christmas, it comes around every year so there's always 2012 if you miss the pressies this year!

This is a superbly worked image - you manage to make even wilting flowers look beautiful!
Carol
reminds me of dancers waiting for some fresh music to get the revived and back to life...like this a lot. it is avery thoughtful and beatifully done work..much better than that bloody swan.....opps slipped out
Wilting or not, it's a beautiful capture and creation, Sue, excellent work
Such a busy time leading up to Christmas; I've sent most of my cards but still some to do - not even bought any presents as yet! I'll be glad when all the hassle is over and I'm on my way up to Scotland for the Christmas period! ![]()

Molls - that poor swan has taken some stick - I feel so sorry for him![]()
Not the swan...it's the photographer......![]()
Love you really but if you send me a christmas card with a swan on it......I may not be able to control my actions anymore.
Awards are a tricky thing...because we all have people we visit more than others......and to be honest I have not had the time...and when I checked backed....you have had a few of late so I was not going to give this one an award....but that is wrong because it judges the past and not what I see...
For me this is a romeo/juliet moment..or a aftermath in 91/2 weeks...it just rocks my boat so it got the award and it ranks in your best in my mind....would grace any cosy little hotel room wall !
