How does this work? It took our Strelizia about five years to produce its first flower, which was last year. Now this year it has produced another beautiful flower that is still emerging.

Thanks for the C&C's and the helpful advice on my last upload.

Great choice of a black background for this subject but unfortunately the circular paint brush marks are visible where youíve covered over the original dark grey b/ground. Still more work to done in post but worth it for such a lovely still life. The alternative would have been to avoid any light spilling onto the b/ground at the time of shooting but that isnít so easy when working in a confined space.
