Good morning folks,
I thought I would have a break from birds today and upload something different.
With spring finally here what better than a frog image.
There are several ponds in the woods where my hide is situated and they are now
alive with Toads & newts but as yet very few frogs.
This is a Common frog in full breeding garb. As you can see he has a blue tinge to
his lips and throat, sometimes the whole body colour is orange or very red in appearance.
Normally I would use a macro lens for this type of image but I was set up for the usual bird session
when I went out yesterday.
Thanks for looking & enjoy the spring weatherGrin
Colin

You'll always get my attention with a good macro image Colin, I can take or leave the birds these days, getting too old BlushWink

That blue lip tinge is just the thing to turn a lady frog on! I adore frogs and this is a lovely image with a great reflection.

Awesome take, although I do find the white line (reed) in front of the frog a bit distracting, but I'm being very pickyWink
