Wing walker

Wing walker by Brian65

Excellent shot, I was there in the crowd and conditions were not perfect but you did well to get such a clean and clear shot.

That's just smashing. Lovely atmosphere.

Unusually for me (B&W) I actually prefer the colour version, the muted tones do help with the etherial feel of the picture. Very nice.

Does the picture really need the selective colouring? I suspect not, it's a good strong and well crafted image without the "gimmick". Gets a well deserved vote.

What an interesting Landscape, kind of thing you could spend time looking into (and enjoying).

The Artful Codger

The Artful Codger by proz

Looks more like an old Confederate soldier than a Dickens character but its a smashing portrait whatever the title.

Reminds me of an alum cover of the group Th Nice, the Elegy album. Wow hippy flashback time (and i was never really old enough to be a hippy).
Smashing picture though that sparked a little bit of imagination which is got to be good.

Evocative and well presented.

The Walk Home

This picture and the Cathedral one are both excellent. Its nice to see manipulation used so well and inventively.

Bye Anne!

Bye Anne! by geegee

I've been out a few times with my local (Portland) rescue helicopter and been winched up and down onto boats/ships as well and will happily attest to the phenominal abilities of the crew. Landing, by winch, onto a small moving Navy boat in windy conditions is as exhillerating as it gets with only the real risk of a dunking making me leave my camera on the helicopter.

I shudder when the regular rumours of the service being withdrawn rear their head, this is what taxes are for.

Bril picture, tells a story and made us think.

Great picture, the woman exudes confidence. I do agree with the other views in that her pose is a little strained particularly around her right shoulder though the arm itself makes a nice shape. It is overall a powerful and pleasing picture.

You see many flower shots but this one stands out for its inventiveness and clarity.

Blue Eyed Boy

The square format, slightly off centre placing etc all work to tremendous effect and the B&W looks so fresh and suited to the subject. I personaly am not so keen on the blue eyes and think B&W would have more impact but agree that a good frame should be the next step for this picture.

Checked out the rest of your work, its just stunning. Its the feeling of serenity that stands out.

Don't know whats more impressive the excellent, well exposed, well seen and well framed picture or the fact that the rider is only 12 yrs old. Top notcc stuff.

A Momentary Lapse of Reason

A Momentary Lapse of Reason by deepsky

About the only improvement I can think of to better this picture would be to be able to view it at bigger, poster size. It's stunningly good.
