Probably one of the biggest non-competative but unknown sports out there, do a search for HHH groups in your area and I'll bet you will be surprised. On any ordinary Sunday we'll have 80 people out running off road following a trail laid in sawdust and on a couple of weekday nights it'll be head torches and a flour trail (shows up better in the dark) at this time of year. No use for getting fit since each trail usually starts and finishes at a pub and drinking is all but mandatory but its social sport of the best kind and I'd recommend it to anyone.
