Yes, I'll agree with the other comments. It is well captured and in a striking position.
I lifted your picture and enhanced the lighting for my own interest. In my opinion and I am no expert, it made a better picture with more light falling on the subjects breast.

Not too many people take photos of the starling, they tend to be pests, yet they do have some wonderful colours in their feathers, as you have captured here, along with their wonderful shine Well done Norma

Here is another Starling supporter, the beauty of this bird is so overlooked by many and called a pest. It's never polluted the sea with tons of raw oil however, so perhaps the starling thinks we are the pests, and he would be right! Great pic, love it!

Nicely focused on the head Andy, shame it's back lit though, you could have tried lifting the shadows with shadows and highlights, in PS, that's asuming that you may have it,

Terrific pose showing it is a powerful bird for its size. In a way it actually reminds me of being similar to the kind of pose a bodybuilder might assume. Great photo.
