Haven't been out with my camera for ages as you might have guessed.
Went over to the Brecon's to capture some waterfalls, but they weren't so good. Did however spot this little scene after 2 hours of strenuous walking and pulled muscles in the ol butt cheeks (how that happened I don't know) quite liked it so here it is.

Good to see you back again Ange - I like the contrast between the strong vertical lines of the background trees and the slant of the one nearest the camera. A lovely scene Smile

A mighty looking tree. Well taken and composed. Now you've got me wondering where you took it. Was it at Garwnant off the A470?

Hi Alun it was at Ystradfellte the four waterfalls walk, bit disappointing in terms of waterfalls.

Love the clarity, colour and depth in this. Looks like a great place to walk around in and photograph tree bark Smile

Very nicely composed Ange. That tree dominates but doesnt over power. Good colour and light as well.
