This image of Scotney Castle, a National Trust Property in Kent, is a version of a much earlier upload.
I've always liked it and thought I'd give it another airing!
Thanks to all who viewed, voted and commented on my 'Black Sea Poppy' upload - very much appreciated, as always!Smile
And a special thank you to Carol(CarolG) and Effrossini(leontari) for their generous and treasured User Awards!SmileSmile
This will be my last upload for a week or so - we're off to Bonny Scotland on Saturday and have quite a few things to sort out before we go.
Have a great day.
Richard

This is lovely Richard !! I would love to visit a place like that !! Regarding our green winter - we live in a winter rainfall region - so green and lush in winter and dead and dry in summer Smile

Have never been here Richard, but it looks an interesting place to visit. Love this shot, great reflections. Love that blue sky reflected in the water with the lily pads floating just like a cloud. Moira

Vibrant and saturated colours, Richard. I like the figures for scale but they don't intrude on the image, and also the lily pads in the foreground.

Wow! This is gorgeous Richard. Just love the colours (the blue sky is so...blue!), the lily pads in the foreground and such a fabulous reflection of a very interesting building. Smile
Have fun in Scotland.

Richard that is a beautiful Castle which I'd love to visit.
I have a sister in Kent and seen some places there but another visit
would have me heading to Scotney.
Lovely reflection and looks like a perfect day.
I'll look forward to seeing what you find in Scotland.
Hope the weather keeps up for you.

One of my favourite National Trust properties, and one which I have photographed many times. You have captured both the beauty and charm of the Castle quite superbly in this exceptional composition, which is not only balanced but it instantly draws ones eye. A crystal clear reflection adding to the appeal.
