I'm sure your all fed up of Eilean Donan castle by now.....so heres Moil Castle in Kyleakin instead. Not quite as impressive as Eilean Donan but still very nicely situated ![]()
After a morning of near constant rain we had a brief break in the weather late afternoon. I particularly liked the texture of the water which was silk smooth glass.....not shown off to its advantage here, but I'm sure you can see what I mean.
Thanks for looking in ![]()

Lovely balanced composition - sky detail, reflection, foreground detail in the shingle, and the castle. Nice one.

a beautiful setting right from a Celtic Legend. Perfect composition with a grand sky, beautiful reflections and clear water. Could you wish for more?
no Chris...I meant Rain , obviously ![]()
Thanks everyone ![]()
Thank you Rich and Conrad
I just really loved the texture of the water, I have only seen this effect a few times when I lived in Scotland and wander exactly what conditions cause it. It's as if you could glide your hand over it and pick it up .
