I have been taking photos since January 2005, and am a Nikon user. My main camera is now a D200 and I have my trusty old D50 as a backup. I also occasionally shoot with a Samsung GX-10.

I'm originally from Montreal, Canada - but have been living in Sunderland, North East England for the past few years. I'm self-taught and love still life work and landscapes, although I'm always on the lookout for a shot, no matter what the subject. I just try to put my own mark on things.

2008 is the third year of my Photo A Day project. This has been set up via a blog and I am striving to improve my photography and be more aware of the world around me through it. I really enjoy the challenge and take an even greater delight in photography as a result.

I love the inspiration that the photographers here at epz give me - there is so much talent here.
