I'd not planned to upload these two on their own as they were included in my last set of uploads. As I've had a few requests and suggestions to upload them on their own here they are.
yes Ken i agree these were well worth a seperate upload nice to see them great colour light and love the lass out of focus on the bench good comp
Happy new week
A couple of good captures.
Yes, thanks for giving these their moment of glory - and I do think V1 is the right lead. It is quieter, more composed in feel. Very beautiful.
The focus and dof are perfect. So much body language conveyed in that soft blur.
It's a lovely peaceful moment in time - lunchtime on a park bench.
Two great images Frank, very hard to pick out a Gold Medal Winner today. However I think I may be swayed towards Version Number 1
I'm so glad you decided to give these their own day in the sun.
V1 is special.
Hi Ken, indeed worthy of their own uploads, excellent composed images!
I love both images an dhave to agree that V1 is the right lead.
In a way V2 leaves me wanting more - a concluding picture with the lady walking away; it also makes me aware that I will so often omit the final frame in a potential sequence of three!
Yes, they were both uploading in their own right - and you have uploaded them in the right order in my opinion too
A cracking pair Ken.
Perfect selective focus, Ken, she's so much the focus of attention.
I'm so glad you uploaded these on their own 'cos they are thoroughly well shot candids, Ken.
Great shot Ken, love the comp.
I think those who suggested uploading these on their own were quite right, they certainly captured my attention before.
Two very fine images Ken but I just feel however that the shot is, without doubt, is all about the flowers and the BG figure adds very little to the composition. The flowers are superb and you could easliy give them a great deal more prominence by cropping away the right half of the image.
Just my personal opinion of course and in no way to be read as criticism.
These images need the inclusion of both the girl and the flowers. There is a subtle connection between them. Maybe the girl has just been given a rose by her boyfriend/lover. Her inclusion is far more than merely a coincidental piece of bg interest.
Keep strong, Ken.
The eye is taken around the frame and that is the mark of a top-shot.
I agree these are well worth a seperate upload
Brilliant dof and detail, Ken....Beautiful!
Thanks for checking out my shots, Ken....You never fail to take time out of your day!
Excellent composition, especially the fg.
It's V2 for me Ken - like them both though.
Lovely flowers lovely lady what more could a man want!. Excellent composition with
the flowers in perfect focus. Well done. WesternRed
