I took this yesterday at my favourite bit of coastline. The clouds were amazing earlier (to follow - maybe tomorrow), but these two jet trails were left mirroring the tracking. I used my polarising filter - not sure whether it benefited the image or not. v2 is a mono version. There's a huge boat on the left horizon which you can just see.
Thanks for looking - have a great weekend!
Big thanks to Jim (canonfan) for his UA for Stormcloud III.

Good morning Ann, what a fabulous image, great pov and composition, I can just see this printed huge and hanging on a wall in the lobby of a modern building
Definitely V1 for me

Grrr... This is my third attempt at saying something nice about this picture, for some reason my comments keep disappearing!
Firstly good morning Ann, This image is marvellous and I'm glad that at least my humble UA got there first! I love the composition of this image, the lead in of the trackway to the huge sky with its twin contrails and wispy cloud (I know could also be contrails), which contrast greatly in both colour, texture and emotion with the busy foreground shore, all counterpointed by the lovely turquoise sea and deep blue horizon line.
I too envision it hanging on the wall of a posh hotel, but would much more prefer it on my dining room wall!
An overall wonderful image.
Sorry to have a down though, V2 just doesn't quite work for me, maybe try a high key version in mono???
V1 favoured here Ann, like your composition,
Fred.
good composition and it has to be the colour version for me also
Graham
I like this very much Ann, but V1 with it's natural colour, really takes first prize for me.

One of my favourite spots, too, and it's a delight to see it again. I love the mirroring of the track with the trails, a happy coincidence that you have really made the best of.
V1 for me, too.
Regards
Bill
...something took off from here and with such violence that the tracks were disturbed, you can still see the trails in the sky above, will they come back? Nobody Knows.

Love those tracks in the sky!
When we found this I was so fixated by the rust and pebbles that I never even thought to look up!

When the wind is in the right direction, planes come in over here for Heathrow or Gatwick (don't know which), so there's a lot of flight activity - and the possibiity of jet trails.
I like the negative space of the sky in this, Ann, and the track suddenly disappearing gives a wonderful mystery to the image. In the style of 'Athena Posters'
v2 doesn't work with the tint but may as a contrasty plain mono.
Must say I love both, so equal points Ann.
Regards
Trev.
Glorious image Ann, I was full of anticipation when I saw the thumbnail and my expectations were exceeded when I opened the image up. V1 by a mile for me too!
Mike
allthough I like v2 for the strict composition it is v1 for me - the colours are an extra bonus.
Well, I hate to follow the crowd but V1 is my favorite. It is quite possible that you would not have seen the deep blue near the top of the photo and the nice contrast in the clouds without the polarizer but difficult to tell without a comparison shot.

The colour version for me, it looks like the railway route to nowhere
