Having gone quite mouldy with the amount of rain we have had, the seed heads in the garden are now decomposing and drying out. Bit by bit they are revealing the skeleton structure below

Love the subtle colours and composition, wish I could see photos like this from people who enter competitions! They would score high.

Almost looks like the tail of a miniature bird sticking out the left opening, Helen. Like the way the stem is almost invisible, making the seed head appear to float in the air.
