Haltwhistle Burn is a small stream running from Hadrian's wall country down through Haltwhistle to the River Tyne.
This will be another little series all taken during an hours walk up the burn and all within 50 meters of each other.
I find these little series of pics to be a very good discipline.

Very nicely handled, and a very pleasing image. I know how hard it is to get milky water like that without the whites blowing out.
I particularly enjoy images taken on people's home turf, on places that they know and understand.
You very rarely use portrait, it works here, it conveys the tumbling motion and the weight of the water. Looking forward to more.

So pleased to know you are disciplined, Danny.
The contrast between speed and stillness is reassuring. Love both colour and composition.

Maybe a wee bit slow for my liking I'm not a fan of silky milky but you've stopped just short of that Danny. The image itself is a fine composition and a nice capture of the burn in close view with the short tele effect.

looks like a very interesting series about to unfold.
The criss-cross movement of the water around the solid rock makes a lovely dynamic image, Danny.

Yes,that what I need is some discipline Danny.
But I do not get it anymore since the police shut down Madame Fifi's House of Correction !!
I actually discovered it by mistake when I was 14 years old.
I took my English homework in to make sure I had done it right !!
Good shot.
Mick.
Good movement in the water Danny good shutter at 0.6sec with a -1/3 exposer comp,
John
