many thanks for your comments and hints regarding our weekend escape Smile

here is another souvenir from La Rochelle... a few seeds of this gorgeous sunflower fell into Chris' hand while I was trying to find an angle for this beauty. La Rochelle botanical garden.

I suppose it's not the "sunny" version of the sunflower, but I have seen this variety in a garden locally and think the depth of the colour is stunning.
