Many thanks for your kind reaction to the provençal fritillaries.

the land is sunburnt and dry, the hot air dryer never switches off outside. So I thought I'd go back a few weeks to when there was still a wealth of flowers in the blessed meadow.

Your DOF is perfect here -- giving the illusion of 3 or 4 distinct planes as we move back from the main subject. This is a beautiful color combination as well.
