The staircase in Brantome abbey, I'll upload the original as v2
The abbey is basically roman but the church and some parts have been rebuilt in a gothic style in the 12th century. More restoration work was done during the 19th century, some of which has been put right in resent years closer to the original
Most of the building is limestone and some is supported by steel now as the old buildings are on top of a cave.. The staircase also contains a darker, harder stone from the Massif Central

The blue toning in V3 adds a lot to the atmosphere. I particularly like your pov and composition, showing the staircase rising and falling, and the windows provide just enough light to show up the architectural detail, and give some nice contrasty shadow areas as well.
V2 my favourite Annette but I like all 3 because of the super commposition,
Fred.
V1 is good, V3 pips it for me - for eerie coldness. I like the way this shows up the detail of the structure while still allowing some mystery in the shadows.

Great comp and love your processing
If I had to choose V1 for a vote
V1 for me Annette, reminds me of Harry Potter ![]()
An Escher-like staircase, the tones of v1 win it for me. Lovely perspective, Annette.

I have not seen a 14/24 Nikkor, instead a 12/24 mm. But the picture is superb.
V1 wins it for me, good processing with lots of detail.
John
I like the cold feel to V3, however, the more sinister darknes of V1 is my favourite. The open window providing an escape from whatever danger lurks.
On a lighter note, it made me think of the optical illusion of the endless stairway
