Your comments for the pub decoration made my day,I really enjoyed reading all your funny remarks when I came home today.

Since my surroundings are still under water here is one from last September:
a detail of Eiffel's bridge in Porto.

Fascinating point of view, Annette. I like the stark black background -- it really emphasizes the structure.

Yes,I do like it annette !!
Good bold graphic lines.
It reminds me of my bombadier days flying in an airship.
I got thrown out when the captain caught me having a fly fag !!

It makes me wonder how a mind works to create a bridge of such complexity! Smile nicely done Annette.

A tangle that makes sense.
And enough potential rust to keep Mick going for a lifetime...
Eiffel designed a few big projects that are still around - the Elevator in Lisbon, I think the Atocha railway station in Madrid...

Reminds me of a children's building set (not lego, but similar), your pov has given a strong abstract of the bridge.

Did you count the girders, Anette?Wink
Taken at night was the perfect choice to gain the impact of this mighty structure.

This is amazing! For one thing, the depth and detail. For another, the lovely light bathing this sheer steel honeycomb of sorts.

Bravo, Annette.
