Glad you liked the little frilly Iris so much
Now I have to find the garden catalogue where I had seen them first.
Here is a reminder of the grim February. Villebois Castle stands proud above our rolling hills and is the nicest landmark on the OTHER side, just outside the Aquitaine. it looks so much better when the frost keeps the usual traffic away.

A beautifully crisp, silvered landscape, and gorgeous light.
The winter snows transform the scene so beautifully if one can overcome the cold, Annette: fine panoramic presentation of this Castle, the detail in the stonework so crisply captured, and with it set against that dull blue sky you have a most impressive and attractive image. Very well done.

Lovely "fairytale"scene... The snow and castle textures almost merge together... The sky backdrop sets of the castle superbly
I like the formality of this, almost an architectural drawing with a blue sky. A part of France that I don't know, it's on the to-do list...

Wonderful image Annette.
Very pleased to give you the RC ![]()

That's some stunning architecture! The sidelighting has given some good textures throughout. When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was surrounded by sand!

Looks just like a drawing to me - beautifully captured with super detail
Helen
It looks like a fairytale castle in a winter wonderland, a magical image indeed
