A pair of tocans in the trees... We had stopped because I had shouted 'EGRET!!!' when Chris spotted the first tocan.
a first for us, never seen one in my life, believe me, even here they are not that common.
many thanks to all who visited the green butterfly and many thankt to Mike for the ID.

These were obviously taken from some distance, just look at the exif data Barbara! Two excellent images of this bird taken in its natural habitat. Lucky you getting to see them in the wild, most of us only see them in zoos, bird parks and on old Guinness signs!
