Out of 60 pics, only a few I've been able to rescue. Relied on natural sunlight and no tripod, what a mistake! Lots of Photoshop work on this.

I know how frustrating that can be, when you do a shoot and end up rescuing what you can. I think you have done well, great pose and composition. I like the fact one subject is slightly off focus. I think its a great shot
Composition and focal difference are spot-on, K. Very impressive. Your youngsters have the most expressive faces. The lighting, I'm finding ok except for a touch less contrast at the front maybe?
Well i think your method has worked K,this is lovely, they have such great expressions,as if to say"lookout she's got the camera out again"..lol,my son runs at times when i get mine out in the house...he knows what that means!!i'm still experimenting with portraits, feels like i'll never get there..lol
excellent work*click*

I think this is great, love the position of both kids and their expressions, Jane
Blimey thanks everyone. Mixed reactions on what works and what doesnt but the image has lost something on upload so perhaps that would be the colour problem. Thanks for the compliments about expressions - you should see my port pic! Thanks again everyone. K.
just a tad bright for my liking -- but the pose, composition and pure attidude do it for me in a big way ... love your port pic even more

Great pose, could see the attitude in the thumbnail, lol.
Don't mind the over exposure at all, in fact I think it adds to the pic. Only distracting thing for me is your sons grey troosers, IMO. Great image.

Thank you so much everyone, everyone's comments mean so much. K.
Very cool. I'd love to have one of my boys like this. Love it. =)
Thank you Lisa, thats really kind.
Thanks Danny too. K.
Thanks all, and no not a long sitting, lucky to get 10 mins out of my too before they are bored! lol!! K.
Hey, this is really good. I've often found it's so much better to shoot children without a tripod. It means you can move around and catch the unexpected.
This has a kind of GAP feel to it. I know it's mad but many fashion shoots over-expose whites in order to get more of a lifestyle feel anyway. Wouldn't worry about it.
