Thanks to KevSB for getting permission for us to take some lovely reenactors into Kedleston Hall for a quick shoot, there was some lovely light in the house, quite difficult trying not to get in the way of paying visitors.

wow.. i dont know why no comments even after these many votes..
the air is full of solemnity and respect.. a life lived well and honorably doing all the duties, and a smile of satisfaction.. enhanced by the fact that she is a lady, and the technicalities, light, tones, perspective and the ambiance incl her garment enhanced it even more..
A very commendable and relevant job.
The lighting and the fabric textures are classic. I agree with Peekay above too. TG
Thanks you both for your lovely comments, and to everyone for their votes, all very much appreciated.
lol I see what you mean Phil, didnt notice before. Mind you, probably a good job - theres was a lot of stuff to knock over and a few twitchy NT volunteers.
Very nicely done, you can almost feel the lady waiting from someone to return or perhaps the postman to bring an important letter.
Thank you soooooooooo much for your GE award today, it was a very pleasant surprise. I don't get many GE awards and I think they are very important as they give a broader perspective on peoples opinions....so thank you!
